So you've setup a blog with a free blogging service. Now you've got the hang of it and you are posting your comments to the world.

Now, what about space. yOu've found that you can have background music play off of your page. Or you want to display a video on your page. Or you just have some personal files that you want to share with the world. Many blogging applications allow you you to do all these things but they don't provide the space to do it. You have to have your files elsewhere on the Internet and available through a url for the blogging application to link with them.

If you don't have your file available this way, you can quite easily with an Anywhere Account. With only an Email as the requirement you can get an Anywhere Account with 50 megs of space.

Anywhere Accounts allow for creating Anywhere Links which work quite nicely in blogging applications.

Here's How

first, when you sign up you'll get your account information sent to your email address. If you can't access your personal email account from work you'll need to setup your Anywhere Account from home a day before you want to transfer your files.

Next, you should use Anywhere Explorer to transfer your files. It is very simple. You only need to know how to drag files from your work computer into Anywhere Explorer to do the transfer. later, at home you open Anywhere Explorer and double-click get them downloaded to your home machine.

Try installing Anywhere Explorer at work. It is very minimal and doesn't create registry entries or add files to Windows directories. All of it's files go into it's directory and when un-installed it is gone.

Some corporate environments are particularly restrictive in the areas of installing files. We've heard that in many cases Anywhere Explorer installs fine. If it doesn't Anywhere has a web interface.

The Anywhere Web Interface is your second choice if Anywhere explorer isn't an option. being a web interface does limit you a bit. Uploading files is limited to 10 at a time with Anywhere Web. if you have a lot of files you'll probably want to zip them up and transfer them that way.
